Arthur further explained, the quality of voice is essential but to take the breath at the right moment is vital.Thus making music phrasing sensible. Arthur was touched by the singing of Emmy Destinn. Arthur Questioned, " what are we here for ?" "Who made it? Who started it?"
It is Anna's wish that she could make her audience laugh, cry and find something new.
How about you? A few questions to ponder:
1) What is the purpose of singing in the worship?
2) To whom do we (instrumentalists, song leader, choir members) present our singing to?
3) How should we prepare ourselves?
